We are seeking an experienced QC Inspector to perform quality inspections and testing for all civil, structural, and finishing works on active project sites. This role ensures full compliance with drawings, project specifications, method statements, ITPs, and local authority requirements. The QC Inspector plays a key part in maintaining construction quality standards, preventing rework, and supporting the QA/QC team with documentation, coordination, and compliance activities.
Key responsibilities include:
Civil &amp; Structural Works Inspection<ul><li>
Inspect formwork, reinforcement, concrete pouring, curing, and dimensional accuracy</li><li>
Monitor blockwork, plastering, screed, waterproofing, backfilling, compaction, and related works</li><li>
Verify materials and workmanship comply with approved MIRs, ITPs, and specifications</li><li>
Ensure alignment, levels, and tolerances match approved drawings</li></ul>
Architectural &amp; Finishing Works Inspection<ul><li>
Inspect finishing activities including tiling, marble/granite installation, gypsum works, joinery, doors, painting, metal works, and decorative elements</li><li>
Conduct mock-up inspections before full execution</li><li>
Verify finishing quality, levels, plumbness, alignment, and aesthetic standards</li></ul>
Material Verification &amp; Testing<ul><li>
Coordinate with third-party laboratories for concrete, soil, and material tests</li><li>
Review test results for compliance with ASTM/BS standards</li><li>
Raise immediate notifications for any failed tests</li></ul>
Documentation &amp; Quality Records<ul><li>
Prepare and submit IRs/RFIs for civil and finishing works as per ITP</li><li>
Maintain logs for inspection requests, MIRs, NCRs, test results, and site quality documents</li><li>
Ensure proper filing and traceability of QA/QC documentation</li></ul>
Non-Conformance &amp; Corrective Actions<ul><li>
Identify non-conforming work or materials and escalate to line manager</li><li>
Coordinate with site supervisors to implement corrective actions</li><li>
Verify rectification and support closure of NCRs</li></ul>
Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>
Liaise with consultants and client representatives for inspections</li><li>
Coordinate closely with site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors</li><li>
Attend QA/QC and site coordination meetings</li><li>
Support pre-handover inspections and punch list closure</li></ul> 

Qualifications
