Position Summary</b></p>

The Relationship Banker is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while performing a variety of banking functions. This role combines teller and personal banker responsibilities to provide a seamless customer experience. The Senior Relationship Banker builds relationships with customers, identifies financial needs, and recommends appropriate products and services.</p><br>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b></p>

<ul><li> Process routine banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Open new deposit accounts and related services and assist customers with account maintenance.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Educate customers on digital banking tools and services.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Support FGB sponsored Financial Foundations efforts to promote financial education in the communities we serve.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Identify customer needs and refer to appropriate banking solutions.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Maintain compliance with bank policies and procedures.</li></ul>
<ul><li> Support branch sales goals through proactive customer engagement.</li></ul>

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)</b></p>

<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.</li>
<li>1 year of customer service experience required.</li>
<li>6 months of cash handling experience required.</li>
<li>Previous banking strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li>

<li>Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking systems.</li>

The Relationship Banker develops and cultivates long-term client relationships by providing insight, advice, and personalized financial solutions for their clients. Relationship Bankers are responsible for retaining and deepening existing client relationships through cross-selling, establishing new banking relationships, referring clients to product partners (e.g., Mortgage, Investments, Small Business, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Private Banking, Wealth Management, Commercial), educating clients on digital solutions, providing account servicing and maintenance, effectively resolving client servicing issues, and processing. Relationship Bankers are active in their communities through outreach efforts and through service with community organizations.</div><div></div><div><b><br>

Position Levels</b></p><p>
There are two levels of Relationship Banker, depending on banking experience including client service, deposit, and lending experience. Bankers must demonstrate completion of required training programs, licensing or specialized training, and acceptable performance to goals to be considered for further advancement. Licensing or registrations must be maintained current and in good standing in accordance with program guidelines. Positions may be based at a specific banking center or be a &ldquo;Market&rdquo; position that supports all banking centers in a defined market.</p><p><br>

Demonstrates ability to handle all transactions, servicing needs and inquiries upon completion of required training.</li><li>

Experienced bankers who have successfully completed the requirements of a Relationship Banker, including all new hire training and the Relationship Banker Learning Path within defined timeframes, or bankers with existing experience in a similar role at another financial institution, including NMLS registered.
</li><li>Demonstrates consultative sales skills and strong service levels to build and deepen client relationships.</li><li>
Consistently meets or exceeds account opening and lending goals, credit card goals, partner referrals, and quality Client Financial Profiles.</li><li>
May manage an assigned client portfolio to handle all consumer banking relationship needs.</li><li>
Encouraged to participate in their community through service in a Community Organization, Not-for-Profit volunteer, Business-Related Networking groups, or similar organizations.</li><li>
Completes Relationship Banker Development Program to demonstrate advanced proficiency in role.</li></ul><p><b>
