Position Summary:
Under close direction of senior research staff, conducts activities to support research projects.
Position Key Accountabilities:<ul><li>
Under close supervision, conducts research activities according to research protocol. Research activities may include some or all of the following: patient recruiting and screening, traditional laboratory experiments and activities, informatics, field interviewer recruiting, screening and training and/or animal laboratories.</li><li>
May maintain clean laboratory equipment and/or work area to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.</li><li>

FPDC is responsible for executing over 400 active projects ranging from $1,000 to multi-billion-dollar builds, implementing a $10 billion capital expansion program spanning clinical, research, hospitality, and infrastructure facilities. FPDC has over 200 professionals including project managers, planners, architects, designers, and operations experts, working as a team to complete all of these projects. 
 
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in healthcare and/or research facility renovations or similar complex environments in roles with progressive responsibilities (e.g. Project Engineer, Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent, Assistant Project Manager). They should excel at coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and healthcare personnel, to minimize disruption to active healthcare/research operations. Candidate should have an understanding of healthcare/research facility standards, particularly those related to fire/life/research lab safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance. 
 
The candidate must possess strong organizational and communication skills. Capable of managing documentation with attention to detail. Experience with project management software and tools. Additionally, they should have demonstrated the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting, problem-solve in fast-paced environments, and be proactive in identifying risks, and opportunities for improvement. 
 
A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is highly desirable. PMP or other relevant certifications will be an advantage but not a requirement. Experience managing multiple renovation projects in active healthcare research settings, particularly involving infection control risk assessments (ICRA), and a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget are key differentiators.

Job Summary and Qualifications</h5>
As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to help every procedure go safely and smoothly. You will play a key role in keeping equipment ready, supporting patient care, and helping create a safe, comfortable environment throughout the surgical journey.
What You Will Do In This Role:<ul><li>You will provide support for routine surgical cases by assisting in the preparation and maintenance of certain patient equipment and anesthesia delivery systems before, during and after anesthesia.</li></ul><ul><li>You will perform first level testing, cleaning and maintenance on anesthesia and intubation equipment.</li><li>You will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, stocking, ordering and maintaining equipment and supplies.</li><li>You will demonstrate team work, adaptability, and serve as a resource to the Surgical Services team.</li><li>You will have accountability for delivering quality services and for promoting a positive image of the department.</li></ul><h6 class="jobSectionHeader">
What qualifications you will need:</h6><ul><li>1 year experience in a perioperative environment as an Anesthesia Tech preferred.</li><li>Anesthesia Technician certification preferred.</li><li>Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.</li></ul>
