<div><p>We are seeking a highly skilled Security Engineer III / Lead to elevate our enterprise security capabilities across endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and critical business systems. Key Responsibilities:</b>

Conduct threat hunting, deep-dive log analysis, malware investigation, and IOC analysis across endpoints and AWS environments.</li><li>
Work closely with NOC, infrastructure, cloud engineering, and endpoint teams to drive rapid and effective response to incidents.</li><li>
Support secure deployment and configuration of AWS services, ensuring alignment with best practices, identity controls, encryption standards, and logging/monitoring (CloudTrail, CloudWatch, GuardDuty, IAM, VPC, KMS).</li><li>
Partner with cloud and DevOps teams to embed security into CI/CD pipelines, IaC templates, and cloud architecture decisions.</li><li>
Assess cloud workloads for misconfigurations, excessive permissions, and exposure using Rapid7, AWS Config, and native cloud posture tools.</li><li>
Own lifecycle management of security tools, including patching, upgrades, feature enablement, and decommissioning.</li><li>
Monitor new vulnerabilities affecting security systems (EDR, DLP, SIEM, agents, cloud services) and coordinate remediation.</li><li>
Participate in tool evaluations, POCs, vendor assessments, and ongoing modernization efforts.</li><li>
Maintain operational security documentation: SOPs, configuration standards, runbooks, and exception logs.</li><li>

Qualifications</b></h2><p><b>

A day in the life<br>
As a Sr GenAI Security Consultant, you might start your day leading a security architecture review for a customer's GenAI implementation, followed by collaborating with AWS service teams on new security features for Amazon Bedrock. By afternoon, you're developing a proof-of-concept for an AI-powered security monitoring solution, then mentoring team members on secure prompt engineering practices. The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) enriches the environment and protects public health for all New Yorkers by providing 1.1 billion gallons of high-quality drinking water, managing wastewater and storm water, and reducing air, noise, and hazardous materials pollution. DEP is the largest combined municipal water and wastewater utility in the country, with nearly 6,000 employees. DEP's water supply system is comprised of 19 reservoirs and 3 controlled lakes throughout the system&rsquo;s 2,000 square mile watershed that extends 125 miles north and west of the City.<br>
<br>
The Bureau of Wastewater Treatment (BWT) is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all facilities related to the treatment of sewage within the five boroughs of the City. This includes 14 wastewater treatment plants, sludge dewatering facilities, collections facilities (pumping stations, combined sewer overflow retention facilities, regulators, tide gates, etc.), wastewater laboratories and harbor vessels.<br>
<br>
The selected candidate will report to the Section Chief, the Project Manager (office title) oversees complex Task Order and Job Order Contracts (TOC/JOC) valued between $5M&ndash;$30M. The role includes managing design and construction contracts, project oversight, analysis, reviews, payments, and reporting. Coordinate and work with structural, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC engineers and consultants. Conduct Monthly meetings, present progress on contracts.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:<br>
-Contract Management- Lead TOC/JOC programs to meet bureau-wide design and planning needs. Oversee daily contract operations, ensuring compliance and timely execution. Prepare and review RFPs, cost proposals, and consultant agreements. Track contract awards, registrations, and lifecycle status.<br>
-Project Oversight- Review project initiation forms for accuracy and approvals. Conduct monthly progress meetings and monitor KPIs. Assign task orders and coordinate consultant teams. Forecast timelines and funding with advanced duration analysis.<br>
-Reporting &amp; Documentation- Deliver monthly reports on spending, actions, and program status. Maintain contract files, project records, and SharePoint documentation. Build and manage databases and Power BI dashboards for real-time insights.<br>
-Payments &amp; Budget- Process payments for multimillion-dollar contracts with accuracy. Collaborate with Engineering, ACCO, BLA, and Audit teams on payment issues.<br>

CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - 34202</p><p><b><br>
Minimum Qualifications</b></p><p><br>
1. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State&rsquo;s Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization, and five years of full-time satisfactory experience managing and/or inspecting one or more construction projects which must have a total cost of at least $300,000 for each of the five years of the required experience; or
<br>
2. One year of the experience as described in &ldquo;1&rdquo; above and a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university, accredited by regional, national, professional or specialized agencies recognized as accrediting bodies by the U. S. Secretary of Education and by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, architectural technology, landscape architecture, construction, construction technology, or construction management; or
<br>
3. One year of the experience as described in &ldquo;1&rdquo; above and a valid license as a professional engineer, registered architect, or registered landscape architect, issued by a board of examining engineers, architects, or landscape architects duly established and qualified pursuant to the laws of any state or territory of the United States; or
<br>
4. A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization, and a combination of at least two years of experience as described in &ldquo;1&rdquo; above and the education as described in &ldquo;2&rdquo; above to equal a total of five years of education and experience. Matriculation in an undergraduate college degree program as described in &ldquo;2&rdquo; above may be substituted for experience on the basis of 30 semester credits for one year of satisfactory full-time experience up to a maximum of three years of experience.

Note: Candidates must specify for each construction project they worked on: a description of the construction project, the time period they worked on the construction project, and the type of work they performed. Candidates must also specify the money allotted for the project.

Driver License Requirement: At the time of appointment to this position, you must have a motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York. If you have moving violations, license suspension or an accident record, you may be disqualified. This license must be maintained for the duration of your employment.
