The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) team is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Applied Scientist, to lead the development and implementation of algorithms and models for supervised fine-tuning and reinforcement learning through human feedback; with a focus across text, image, and video modalities.<br>

As a Senior Applied Scientist, you will play a critical role in driving the development of Generative AI (Gen AI) technologies that can handle Amazon-scale use cases and have a significant impact on our customers' experiences.<br>

Key job responsibilities<br>
<ul><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and scientists to identify and solve complex problems in GenAI</li><li>Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance of different algorithms and models, and iterate quickly to improve results</li><li>Think big about the arc of development of GenAI over a multi-year horizon, and identify new opportunities to apply these technologies to solve real-world problems

A day in the life<br>
As a Senior Product Marketing Manager (PMM) for AI Infrastructure, you'll operate at the intersection of deep technology and strategic marketing. One day you might be diving deep with silicon architects to understand our next-generation chip innovations, then translating that into compelling positioning that resonates with AI researchers and enterprise decision-makers. The next day, you could be orchestrating a major launch strategy, aligning multiple VP-level stakeholders across EC2, Annapurna Labs, and our AI services teams. You'll build and nurture relationships with industry analysts, craft thought leadership content for executives, and work with customers to tell impactful stories about building AI on AWS.<br>

About the team<br>
The product marketing team works on creating compelling positioning and marketing content to support product launches and campaigns that will help customers do more with generative AI. We all have a bias for action for developing awesome marketing assets (e.g., website, videos, success stories, blogs, presentations, print collateral, sales enablement tools, etc.). We look for ways to measure the impact of our work on service adoptions. We transition from working on strategic plans or creative ideation to detailed execution, multiple times per day. We all work together and pick each other up when workloads shift. This helps us manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables.
