First Appearance and Detention Court Specialist work closely with the Public Defender&rsquo;s Office in gathering documents associated with individuals that have been arrested and are waiting for their initial appearance court hearing.</li><li>
Individuals who have been arrested and are waiting for the initial court hearing are detained in a holding area in Cook County Criminal Courthouse.</li><li>
First Appearance and Detention Court Specialist interview detaining to provide information to the Public Defenders for the initial Appearance Court.</li><li>
First Appearance and Detention Court Specialist may be required to interview Clients&rsquo; family, friends, and witnesses in their home and places of work throughout the Cook County to gather information needed for legal representation in court.</li><li>
First Appearance and Detention Court Specialist verify all information gathered from clients to determine accuracy and validity, i.e., conducting site visits to homes, employers, etc. as needed.</li><li>
Provide intensive follow-up on each case to ensure that all steps in the process have been completed according to defined process, procedures, and standards.</li><li>
First Appearance and Detention Court Specialist shall be required to upload data into internal systems.</li><li>
First Appearance and Detention Court Specialist will attend the Initial Appearance court hearing and record the outcome of each hearing.</li><li>
First Appearance and Detention Court Specialist will provide family support/information to Clients&rsquo; family members and friends regarding the hearing.</li><li>
Specialist shall track all contacts with Clients and submit reports to the Public Defenders.</li><li>

Summary:</b> The Membership Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing strategies and tactics to acquire new members at every membership level. Efforts will focus on surgeons in the United States and Canada eligible for domestic Fellowship. The Specialist will build a new member acquisition pipeline, qualify leads, and use tools such as PropFuel and Marketo for nurture campaigns. The Membership Marketing Specialist will work closely within the team, especially the data analyst, to create dynamic reports and dashboards that show acquisition KPIs and progress. The Specialist will apply market intelligence, best practices, and industry research to develop and implement innovative lead generation conversion, onboarding/engagement, and retention strategies to meet the established annual goals. The Specialist will identify key audiences, develop personalized, segmented communications, articulate the member value proposition, and ensure all membership materials clearly communicate this message. The Specialist will work with the team to conduct analysis of all acquisition and retention activities to ensure the College is continually looking at the most efficient and result-oriented approaches to increasing membership.</p>

Responsibilities:</b></p>

Member Recruitment and Retention</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop and execute innovative, data-driven marketing campaigns to recruit members across all categories (Fellow, Associate Fellow, Resident, Medical Student, and Affiliate).</li>
<li>Conduct lead generation, prospecting, and qualifying potential new members using internal and external knowledge sources.</li>
<li>Create compelling campaign strategies, including digital communications, direct mail, and integrated cross-channel approaches, in collaboration with the Integrated Communications team. Coordinates with Integrated Communications to harmonize various membership marketing communications and maintain the highest level of engagement with members and potential members.</li>
<li>Leverage CRM/AMS (Aptify) and other platforms to build and maintain an accurate pipeline.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with the team, especially the data analyst, to design and maintain PowerBI dashboards and analytics tools to monitor KPIs, uncover trends, and provide actionable insights for continuous optimization.</li><br>

<p><b>Required Education and/or Experience:

<li>At least 3-5+ years&rsquo; experience in a similar acquisition marketing function is required.</li>
<li>Experience with the following is strongly preferred: customer relationship management, new member acquisition, lead generation using databases and other sources, establishing KPIs, and tracking of outreach and conversion activities through dashboards.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>
