Position Summary
Superior Rigging and Erecting is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to oversee daily fabrication shop operations, manage shop personnel, and ensure fabrication deliverables support project schedules and quality expectations.
This role is responsible for workforce productivity, production scheduling, fabrication quality, and maintaining a disciplined shop environment. The Shop Foreman works closely with the Fabrication Manager, Operations, Quality personnel, and project teams to ensure fabricated components meet engineering and project requirements. This position reports to the Fabrication Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Shop Operations and Workforce Leadership<ul><li>
Manage and maintain accountability for fabrication shop workforce productivity and quality of work</li><li>

Performing welding tasks with precision while maintaining required quality standards</li><li>
Continuously improving fabrication processes, techniques, and shop efficiency</li></ul>
Quality Assurance and Standards<ul><li>
Partner with Quality Assurance and Quality Control personnel to ensure fabricated components meet project requirements</li><li>
Support implementation of American Institute of Steel Construction fabrication standards within the shop</li><li>
Ensure all fabricated components meet company and project-specific quality expectations</li><li>
Maintain consistent fabrication documentation and inspection coordination</li></ul>
