 Responsibilities

 Washes all wares in dishwashing machine or by hand according to applicable food safety and other codes and regulations.

 Polishes all silverware, platters and chafing dishes.
 </li>

 Collects trash from kitchen areas; empties garbage cans and washes and re-lines with new bags; breaks down boxes, crates and removes debris.

 Examines garbage for misplaced silverware, dishes, glassware and other reusable items.
 </li>

 Washes and polishes all stainless steel in the kitchen including shelves, dish cabinets, ice machines, coffee area, refrigerators and walk-ins.

 Washes and cleans receiving, trash and other kitchen-related areas.
 </li>

 Sweeps and mops kitchen floors.
 </li>
 <li>
 Stores all dishes and other wares in proper areas.

Overview: 
This team member is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
 
Responsibilities:

<li>Promptly and carefully sort soiled ware so that it can be put through the dish or pot machine properly. Quickly wash all ware and replace in storage areas as designated. Keep dish machine properly cleaned and filled with water per hotel standards.</li>

<li>Clean kettles, tilt skillets, pots and pans promptly and completely so cooks can carry out their work.</li>
<li>Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware in order to provide cooks, banquet servers and food servers with appropriate equipment for guests' dining experience.</li>

<li>Washes worktable, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.</li>
