   Carry out the structural design process determining the structural system for Geothermal and Solar Energy projects and other industrial plant projects,
  </li>
  <li>
   Create preliminary site layouts using topographic and site constraint map data,
  </li>
  <li>
   Produce preliminary engineering documents and related material for estimating purposes,
  </li>
  <li>
   Design of foundation systems for utility scale onshore wind turbines,
  </li>
  <li>
   Design of common foundation systems and geotechnical aspects of design,
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare Bill of Quantities and draft the bid packages, specifications, scope of work,
  </li>
  <li>
   Create and distribute RFPs to potential vendors, suppliers or subcontractors, establish evaluation metrics,
  </li>
  <li>
   Evaluation of pre-market design concepts for geothermal and solar energy structural support systems,
  </li>
  <li>
   Manage relationships with various equipment vendors, contractors, and third-party engineering firms,
  </li>
  <li>
   Prepare and/or Review of design drawings and calculations for Geothermal and Solar Energy structures including foundations and superstructure systems,
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct value engineering studies to achieve design optimization,
  </li>
  <li>
   Have a good understanding of structural design and construction process,
  </li>
  <li>
   Co-operate with various disciplines (mechanical, electrical, architectural etc.) within a multidisciplinary design &amp; construction process,
  </li>
  <li>
   Review and comment vendor drawings and shop drawings,
  </li>
  <li>
   Support preparation of project budget based upon quotes and bids; track project costs,
  </li>
  <li>
   Support Development of project timeline, identification of critical path and key milestones for project&rsquo;s success,
  </li>
  <li>
   Identify the sources of likely problems and proactively take preventive measures to avoid any potential project risks, and determine response actions to mitigate any negative impact,
  </li>
  <li>
   Maintaining records and databases,
  </li>
  <li>
   Provide technical support and guidance, solving on site problems,
  </li>
  <li>
   Conduct site visit and assessments to support preliminary design and site selection efforts, including constructability reviews,
  </li>

   Communicate technical aspects of a project with other disciplines in the department.

   Qualifications
  </strong>

   Bachelor or Master of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering,
  </li>
  <li>
   Proven track record of 3+ years of Solar Power Plant or Geothermal Power Plant and Building Construction experience,
  </li>
  <li>
   Structural engineering design or research experience of foundations and structural systems,
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in ASCE 7, AISC, Euro Code and other common structural design codes,
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in SAP2000 and/or other structural analysis programs,
  </li>
  <li>
   Proficiency in reinforced concrete and steel structures,
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills,
  </li>
  <li>
   Self-disciplined and result-oriented,
  </li>
  <li>
   Fluent in Turkish and English is a prerequisite,
  </li>
  <li>
   Flexibility to travel to project sites in various locations whenever necessary.
  </li>
  <li>
   Excellence in MS Office (Project, Word, Excel etc.)
  </li>
  <li>
   Travel to construction site is minimal but may be required up to several weeks when site activities necessitate it.
