<div>StarCare Specialty Health System (StarCare) is seeking an Opioid Treatment Counselor to join the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) team. The OTP program provides comprehensive treatment for individuals with opioid use disorder using medication assisted treatment. 


Responsibilities:

This vital role provides support to individuals in treatment and their family members through individual and family counseling.
</li><li>The Opioid Treatment Counselor will be required to assess the needs of the individual in treatment and their family, make appropriate referrals, as needed, and oversee treatment progress.
</li><li>Opioid Counselors develop treatment plans to meet identified needs, observe and monitor clients on their caseloads and work with other OTP team members in delivering services to all individuals in the treatment program.

Roots Adolescent Renewal Ranch is a 90-day, residential dual diagnosis treatment center in Argyle TX, with a population focus of females ages 13-17. We are dedicated to assessing and treating the whole child - biologically, psychologically, socially and spiritually. We believe that a comprehensive treatment approach to mental health and substance use, in which our clients and team dig much deeper than the presenting symptoms, produces the most effective and long-lasting results. Our individualized program includes a myriad of assessments, individual and group dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), mindfulness in recovery substance use curriculum, trauma therapy, topic-specific group therapy, life skills, outdoor and wilderness experience, art therapy, music therapy, equine therapy, narrative therapy, family therapy, education and remote learning, and an extended aftercare program, among many other impactful components. About the role
The Clinical Therapist at Roots Adolescent Renewal Ranch provides compassionate, evidence-based care to adolescent females in a residential dual-diagnosis setting. This role includes assessing clients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and facilitating individual, group, and family therapy. The therapist collaborates with the multidisciplinary team, supports staff with therapeutic guidance, and assists in crisis intervention. What you'll do
The Roots Adolescent Renewal Ranch Clinical Therapist shall perform the following duties and function as a part of the treatment team:<ul><li>
Maintain caseload of clients and coordinate care.</li><li>
Help with history gathering and screening on potential clients in the pre-admission phase.</li><li>
Meet with each patient upon intake, explaining the rules and culture of Roots Adolescent Renewal Ranch.</li><li>
Assess and diagnose, if applicable, substance use disorders and/or other co-occurring psychiatric disorders within scope of practice defined by licensure and clinical privileges</li><li>
Develop and implement individual treatment plans for each client.</li><li>

<div>Court Based Treatment and Diversion is seeking a Clinician! The Clinician provides clinical, assessment, treatment planning and consultation services for individuals with mental illness, including those with co-occurring substance use and/or developmental disabilities. Works on site at the General District Court to assist the Court by providing assessment at or prior to the time of arraignment and treatment recommendations. Develops and maintains working relationships with individuals served, families and/or caregivers, other NRVCS programs, and other community agencies and resources as needed to ensure quality services. Provides all services with the intention of helping divert individuals to appropriate community treatment. 
Starting Salary: $50,400-Depending on Experience 
Education/Experience Required:
<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in social work, counseling, or other licensed- eligible human services field is required.
</li><li>State of Virginia License in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy is preferred.
</li><li>License eligibility is required if not fully licensed and registration with the appropriate Board is required within three months of hire.
</li><li>At least one year of clinical experience working with individuals with mental illness, substance use disorders, developmental and/or intellectual disabilities is preferred.
</li><li>Experience working with court or criminal justice programs preferred. 
</li></ul>Additional compensation will be considered for any new employees who speak multiple languages.</div>
