</b></p><p>The Superintendent is responsible for the daily operation of a job site, including scheduling, production, and procurement of materials, manpower, and equipment. Supervises all direct labor positions on the assigned project. Manages and oversees any contracted work on the site to ensure successful project completion.

</b></p><ul><li>Studies specifications to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction, based on knowledge of available tools and equipment and various building methods.

The Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of construction projects, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The Superintendent will be responsible for supervising multiple teams of workers, providing guidance and direction as needed, and ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures. This role requires a highly experienced and motivated individual with a deep understanding of heavy civil construction methods, equipment, and safety protocols.</p><p><br>

<ul><li>Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.</li>

<li>Ensure compliance with all relevant permits, regulations, and industry standards.</li>

<li>Report any unsafe conditions or hazards to management immediately.</li>
<li>Oversee all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.</li>
<li>Supervise multiple teams of workers, providing guidance and direction as needed.</li>
<li>Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all work is completed in accordance with project specifications.</li>
<li>Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with company policies and procedures, including safety procedures.</li>
<li>Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure that all workers are trained on safety procedures.</li>
<li>Enforce safety policies and procedures and ensure that all workers are wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).</li>
<li>Monitor and maintain inventory of equipment, tools, and materials, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working order.</li>

Qualifications:</b></p>

<li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience may be considered.</li>
<li>Must be able to travel to all projects.</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 &ndash; 5 years of experience in heavy civil construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical instructions.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety procedures.</li>
</ul>
