About the role
As a Senior Tax Preparer at Uplinq, you will lead the preparation and review of complex federal and state tax returns for a diverse range of clients, including individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates and nonprofits. You&rsquo;ll work closely with leadership, mentor junior staff, and help improve tax processes. This role is great for a seasoned tax pro who enjoys a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment. 
What you'll do<ul><li>
Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, estates and nonprofits.</li><li>
Conduct tax research and planning to identify opportunities that minimize client tax liabilities.</li><li>
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement internal tax policies, quality control procedures, and ensure compliance.</li><li>
Coordinate with bookkeeping and accounting teams to ensure alignment of financial data used in tax returns.</li><li>
Review financial records, income statements, and supporting documents to ensure accuracy.</li><li>
