The Teller is responsible for greeting all members when they enter the branch and assisting them with their financial needs. This is a front-line role responsible for delivering outstanding service and support to members through various channels, including in-person, by phone, and through text and digital messaging. This position performs a variety of financial transactions and supports both lobby and teller operations. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TELLER INCLUDE: 
<ul>
<li>Serving as a member experience concierge for members entering the branch and coordinating lobby flow.</li>
<li>Performing routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.</li>
<li>Assisting members in the opening and closing of accounts.</li>
<li>Balancing the teller drawer at the end of the day.</li>
<li>Supporting ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) operations and serving as a knowledgeable resource.</li>
<li>Promoting and cross-selling Pelican products and services to members to fit their financial needs.</li>
<li>Performing other job-related duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
TELLER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 1 year of continuous job experience.</li>
<li>A High School Diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving and member service skills.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel, and PPT.</li>
