The Supervisor oversees daily field operations ensuring that staff deliver safe, consistent, and high-quality customer engagement across transit system. Supervisors provide on-site support, coaching, and direction to field staff; monitor safety and service conditions; and serve as the primary liaison between Strive, client leadership, and public safety partners.</p><p>This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to make quick, sound decisions in dynamic public environments.</p><p><b>MUST BE BILINGUAL******</b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities</b></p><p><b>Field Leadership &amp; Oversight</b></p><ul><li>Supervise and support teams of Transit staff across bus routes and station assignments.</li><li>Conduct field check-ins, ride-alongs, and on-site observations to ensure staff performance meets program expectations.</li><li>Provide real-time coaching, feedback, and corrective guidance to Ambassadors.</li><li>Ensure all staff follow program protocols, code of conduct, safety procedures, and reporting requirements.</li></ul><p><b>Operations &amp; Coordination</b></p><ul><li>Lead daily briefings, assign shifts, and communicate system updates, service alerts, and program priorities.</li><li>Coordinate with Client&rsquo;s Safety, System Security, Outreach, and Operations teams to address incidents or emerging concerns.</li><li>Monitor field conditions and adjust staff deployment as needed to maintain coverage and visibility.</li></ul><p><b>Incident Response &amp; Reporting</b></p><ul><li>Serve as the primary escalation point for behavioral crises, safety concerns, or service disruptions encountered by staff.</li><li>Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages).</li><li>Support de-escalation efforts in the field when necessary and determine when to involve mental health specialists, outreach teams, or law enforcement.</li><li>Review, approve, and submit shift reports, incident logs, and daily activity summaries with accuracy and timeliness.</li></ul><p><b>Staff Support &amp; Workforce Development</b></p><ul><li>Promote a positive team culture grounded in professionalism, empathy, and trauma-informed engagement.</li><li>Address performance issues promptly through coaching, documentation, and collaboration with leadership and HR.</li><li>Model exemplary customer service and community-oriented engagement at all times.</li></ul><p><b>Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Prior experience supervising teams in customer service, outreach, transit operations, or public-facing environments.</li><li>Ability to lead diverse staff with professionalism, fairness, and clear communication.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.</li><li>Competency with smartphones, radios, and basic software applications (Microsoft Office, reporting tools, email).</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document incidents clearly and objectively.</li><li>Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout transit facilities for extended periods.</li><li>Ability to work in outdoor environments and adverse weather conditions.</li><li>Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on operational needs.</li><li>Must complete all required supervisor and Ambassador training sessions.</li></ul><p><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li>Experience in homeless outreach, behavioral health, crisis response, or transit operations.</li><li>Formal training in de-escalation, conflict resolution, or trauma-informed care.</li><li>At least 2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience.</li><li>Strong understanding of safety protocols, situational awareness, and incident command principles</li></ul><p>Pay: $21.00 per hour</p><p>People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply</p><p>Work Location: In person</p>

 Picking &amp; Checking: Supervise picking and activity and ensure all orders are accurately picked and checked by the staff responsible

   Close all physically completed orders in Oracle

   Troubleshoot problems during picking and escalate to supervisor for inventory discrepancy, damage or shortage during picking

   Report and update in case of damages or losses during order preparation and dispatching

   Report &amp; update temperature excursions during picking and packing process
  </li>
  <li>
   Train and coach new and existing staff on procedures, standards and Work instructions
  </li>

   Record and maintain Productivity sheet for each activity including picking, Packing, staging, loading and other movement across the warehouse

<br>We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to support our expanding commuter and shuttle services across the Boston region.

The Role
<br>The Swing Shift Operations Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day operations of commuter and shuttle programs, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services that exceed client expectations. This position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as familiarity with the transportation landscape and regulatory environment in the greater Boston area.
<br>The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of operations or transportation management experience, with a focus on team leadership, safety compliance, and service performance.
<br><br>
Key Responsibilities
<br><ul>
<li>Supervise daily driver activities and performance to ensure adherence to company policies, schedules, and client service standards.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary on-site liaison between drivers, dispatchers, and client representatives.</li>
<li>Monitor route performance, address service interruptions, and take corrective action to maintain on-time reliability and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).</li>
<li>Conduct driver audits, including pre-trip inspections, safety checks, and documentation reviews.</li>
<li>Respond promptly and professionally to client and rider inquiries, ensuring a positive customer experience.</li>
<li>Prepare operational reports, safety summaries, and performance updates for management review.</li>
<li>Support workforce planning, training, and onboarding of new drivers and support staff.</li>
<li>Collaborate with maintenance and dispatch teams to ensure vehicle readiness and service continuity.</li>
<li>Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all operations.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications & Experience
<br><ul>
<li>Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation operations, fleet management, or dispatch supervision.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of the Boston, MA transportation region, including commuter and campus shuttle operations.</li>
<li>Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT regulations and local transportation compliance standards.</li>
<li>Experience working with fleet management systems, dispatching software, and route monitoring technology preferred.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients, employees, and riders.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard reporting tools.</li>
<li>Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.</li>
<li>CDL Class B with Airbrake endorsement highly desirable.</li>
<li>Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.</li>
