Position Overview
The Security Guard is responsible for providing security services at a client site(s) during scheduled shifts. The guard's schedule, site assignments, and hours are subject to change based on client needs, staffing requirements, call-offs, and contract adjustments. While SSPG strives to accommodate preferred schedules, flexibility is essential for the role. 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Provide security services at the assigned client site(s), ensuring the safety and security of personnel, premises, and assets.</li><li>Be available to work various shifts and client sites as needed. Schedule and locations may change depending on client needs, staffing requirements, or other operational factors.</li><li>Maintain professionalism in all interactions with clients, visitors, and staff. Ensure that all communication fosters a positive and secure environment.</li><li>Conduct regular patrols of the assigned site and monitor surveillance equipment, ensuring adherence to the client&rsquo;s security protocols.</li><li>Accurately document any incidents, security breaches, or irregularities, and promptly report them to the appropriate personnel for follow-up.</li><li>Additional duties as assigned by Silver Star leadership team.</li></ul>
Requirements:

Qualifications<ul><li>Strong communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Active PERC required.</li><li>Previous unarmed security or related experience preferred.</li><li>Strong situational awareness and attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication and de-escalation skills.</li><li>Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods.</li><li>Capability to respond quickly and effectively in emergencies.</li></ul>
Schedule and Availability<ul><li>Guards are expected to work scheduled shifts at their assigned client sites.</li><li>Shifts, site assignments, and schedules are subject to change based on client and SSPG needs.</li><li>Flexibility is required to work additional shifts, including on-call or emergency coverage when needed.</li></ul>
