Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients.<br>
Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.<br>
Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.<br>
Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues<br>
to upper management.<br>
Manages the recruitment and training of new inventory employees.<br>
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.<br>
3<b>. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:</b><br>
<ul><li>Establish and execute cycle count schedule in compliance with the corporate accounting</li></ul>
objectives and maintain its records so that it can be reviewed and accessed by Operations<br>
Manager and also provide the reports related to cycle count activities.<br>
<ul><li>Prepare for and perform with the help of operations a quarterly full stock count (wall to wall), and</li></ul>
maintain a goal of 98-100% accuracy.<br>
<ul><li>Investigate, identify and reconcile the cycle count discrepancies, i.e., shortages as well as</li></ul>
excesses.<br>
<ul><li>Audit all operations processes along with paper flow errors and spot the inconsistencies that</li></ul>
affect the accuracy of the inventories.<br>
<ul><li>Work alongside operation supervisor in creating new item codes and do full stock cataloging.</li><li>Assist operations in preforming warehouse slotting and prepare and enforce replenishment</li></ul>
activities.<br>
<ul><li>Do random audits on operations documentations to insure tractability of operations.</li><li>(optional) supervise and coordinate the appropriate processing of various purchase requisitions,</li></ul>
receiving reports, purchase orders, inventory requisitions, etc.<br>
<ul><li>(Optional) Maintain optimum levels of inventory and trigger procurement department for</li></ul>
merchandise replenishment.<br>
<ul><li>Inspect and give the order for waste disposal.</li><li>Reconcile physical and system stock levels</li><li>Ensure PDT is used for receiving, returns and dispatches</li><li>Audit and report goods are dispatched as per FEFO (First-Expiry-First-Out) standard</li><li>Spot check for right SKU right slot right quantity right expiry</li><li>Report any types of cases that need to be flagged</li><li>Coach and mentor all team members, especially direct reports for performance and work closely</li></ul>
with them during the various stages of the performance cycle (goal setting, performance<br>
evaluations etc.)<br>
<ul><li>Perform all other duties as delegated by the Department Head, or as per business requirement.</li></ul></div>
<ul><li>Daily cycle count leads and documents closure.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Ensure a safe and secure workplace for his/ her subordinates through embodying, promoting</li></ul>
and enforcing the health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies &amp; procedures.<br>
<ul><li>Ensure implementation of various Management Systems (Food Safety, Quality, Health and</li></ul>
Safety &amp; Environment) to achieve best practice in the function he/ she is responsible for.<br>
<ul><li>Ensure involvement of relevant work force in all occupational health and safety risk assessments</li></ul>
and ensure its mitigations are implemented.<br>
<b>4. QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE:</b><br>
<b>Qualification:</b><br>
<ul><li>Bachelors Degree on related fields</li></ul>
Experience:<br>
<ul><li>At least 5 years in warehouse or distribution (preferably in the GCC)</li></ul>
