Deep proficiency in substation automation: IEC 61850 engineering (SCL/CID/SSD files), IED configuration tools (e.g., PCM600, AcSELerator, DIGSI), and gateway configuration.<br>

Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols (IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, DNP3, Modbus TCP/RTU; configuration of industrial servers, gateways, and HMIs.<br>

Accountabilities</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Ability to read a meter accurately<br>
Performs leak repairs, maintains mains, fire hydrants, installation of new sendees,<br>
setting meters, changing out meters, and repairs services<br>
Keeps the direct Supervisor aware of all field customer service problems and needs<br>
Uses PC tablets for field service applications to process seiwice orders, etc<br>
PerfoiTns minor seiwice repairs<br>
Works delinquent disconnects and reconnects as assigned<br>
Resets meters as needed or instructed<br>
Assists in the replacement of meters and registers<br>
Assists in the preparation and completion of service orders and other paperwork<br>
Operates various hand and power tools and mechanical equipment while installing, operating, and<br>
repairing mains, services, meters, valves, and fire hydrants<br>
Helps install, tap, re-line, disinfect, test, and comiect water mains and appurtenances<br>
Repairs, disinfects, and tests broken water mains<br>
Assists in setting up work area traffic controls<br>
Assists in making field and job-related decisions using Company policies and procedures<br>
Reports and communicates to his or her supervisor all daily activities, needed repairs, hazards,<br>
challenges, needs, etc<br>
Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor,<br>
EHS Manager, and/or Human Resources<br>
Maintains and accounts for all tools and equipment and assigned vehicles<br>
Responsible for keeping crew truck clean and orderly<br>
Attends and participates in weekly safety meetings<br>
Perfonns all work duties in a safe manner in compliance with Liberty Utilities<br>

Education and Experience</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED)<br>
Must have a valid California driver&rsquo;s license, clean driving record:<br>
Class A driver&rsquo;s license desired (location specific)<br>
Must possess a Grade 1 Water Distribution Certificate issued by the SWRCB DDW. T1 Treatment<br>
Certificate is desirable<br>
Be able to gain proficiency in basic construction and maintenance methods and procedures of a water<br>
utility<br>
Be able to comprehend the use and functions of the (C.I.S.) Customer Infonnation System Program.<br>
Must be able to work independently and responsibly with direct supervision<br>
Must have basic computer skills, including PC Windows operations knowledge and experience with<br>
communication devices<br>
Able to follow Company rules, procedures, and directions from a supervisor and/or Management<br>
Maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with those contacted in the course of work<br>
