 Overview
 
 
 
 
 The Warehouse Lead is responsible for the performance of the assigned warehouse department to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, continual process improvement, and support of the Operations Manager by coordinating warehouse associate job duties, communication, reporting, and area based projects. They will provide analytical support, conduct root-cause analysis, and own the update and maintenance of reports pertinent to the department they report to. The Lead will support ongoing training needs in their environment, ensuring all warehouse associates are trained and performing responsibilities according to area&rsquo;s standard operating procedures. They ensure the strategic needs of the department and broader business are met through cross-functional interaction and partnerships with warehouse business partners.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Leads warehouse employees through their shift by ensuring the team is set up for success to work safely and productively, and serving as the point of escalation for daily operations
</li><li>Anticipates and coordinates scheduling to ensure effective and accurate work flow; Supports monitoring of deliveries, cleaning schedules, and maintenance priorities
</li><li>Trains and mentors team members within the facility in the areas of productivity, quality, safety and Medline values
</li><li>Communicates effectively with warehouse leadership regarding daily operations
</li><li>Assists with moving products within facility to meet customer needs with accuracy and efficiency by ensuring timely and accurate order receipt and shipment
</li><li>Contributes to projects and ideas to improve quality, efficiency and customer experience
</li></ul>Required Experience:
<ul><li>Able to multi-task in a fast pace work environment and effectively communicate goals and processes to team members and customers
</li><li>Must have a high sense of urgency and customer service
</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
</li><li>Proficient in SAP, Catalyst, arithmetic, and communicating in English
</li><li>Able to multi-task in a fast pace work environment and effectively communicate goals and processes to team members and customers
</li><li>Must have a high sense of urgency and customer service
</li><li>Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily
</li><li>Ability to lift 50 lbs
</li><li>Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week
</li><li>Flexibility to work mandatory overtime based on business needs

The anticipated salary range for this position:
$22.75 - $33.00 Hourly
The actual salary will vary based on applicant&rsquo;s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.

Service Metal is a nationwide Master Distributor of industrial pipe fittings, valves, and flanges. We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our St. Louis team and lead 2nd Shift operations.
Role Summary: We're looking for an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead our 2nd Shift team. This is a full-time, on-site, salaried role where you'll collaborate with other managers while directly leading a team of Warehouse Leads and Associates. In this role, you'll help drive safe, efficient warehouse operations and deliver exceptional service to our customers every day.
What You'll Do: As the leader of this new shift, you'll play a key role managing the team -hiring, training, and developing Warehouse Associates with the help of the Regional Operations Manager. The Managers hours will be Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 1:00 AM, offering four 10-hour workdays and a three-day weekend every week. It's a great opportunity to shape a high-performing team while helping grow our warehouse operations.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Manage warehouse safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost control</li><li>
Plan labor needs and adjust staffing based on demand</li><li>
Lead and mentor a team to achieve performance goals</li><li>
Oversee inventory processes and drive improvements</li><li>

Track and achieve key performance metrics</li></ul>
Preferred SkillsExperience<ul><li>
2-3 years warehouse management experience</li><li>
Bachelor's degree preferred (real-world experience valued)</li><li>
Proven results in safety, quality, delivery, and inventory goals</li><li>
Experience with ERP/WMS systems and Microsoft Office</li><li>
Strong leadership and communication skills</li></ul>
Work Environment:<ul><li>
This will be a mixture of warehouse and office environments.</li><li>
Regular use of computers, phones, and office equipment.</li><li>
Regular use of PIT equipment throughout the day.</li></ul>
