Pay rate: $15.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on experience and performance

Job Summary

Heath Outdoor is hiring part-time, seasonal team members to assist with the installation of annual flowers and seasonal plantings at client properties. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on, outdoor work and take pride in creating clean, vibrant planting displays.

This is a temporary, project-based position with work concentrated around specific season installation windows. Additional hours may be available before or after installation periods to assist with plant preparation and watering.

Keys Responsibilities

Prepare planting beds by weeding, loosening soil, and adding soil amendments as directed
Unload, transport, and accurately place annual plants according to layout or design plans
Perform all aspects of planting, including digging, fertilizing, and initial watering
Install plant material efficiently while maintaining quality and meeting project timelines
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment at all job sites
Work collaboratively with a team lead and other crew members
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or physical labor is helpful but not required
Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions (lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods)
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
Valid and insurable driver’s license, preferred

Expected Schedule & Seasonal Work Windows

This is a part-time, seasonal position. Hours vary by project and season, with work scheduled primarily during the following periods:

Spring: March - April (~170 hours)
Early Summer: May - June (~220 hours)
Fall: September - October (~170 hours)
Late Fall/Winter: Mid-November - Late November (~180 hours)

Additional hours may be available before or after these dates to assist with plant staging, preparation, watering, or other related seasonal support tasks as workload allows.
