Seasonal Equipment Operator

Job Title: Seasonal Farm Equipment Operator

Duties:

- Operating newer line of tractors for spring field work

- Landrolling and spring tillage work

- Machinery setup/implement change, changing machines from performing one task to another

- Tend planter with seed, move equipment between fields

- Service equipment when needed

Skills and Competencies:

- Communication skills, able to work with others and communicate field conditions or machinery symptoms and keep others informed of daily progress

- CDL preferred but not required

- Flexibility to work around weather related constraints

- Basic understanding of technology, Ipads, Applications

- Take notes and record field information

- 2 years of prior farm equipment operation experience requested

Hourly Rate

- Position will pay $21, paid bi-weekly with opportunity for advancement based on skills and competencies

- Bonus for quality work, responsibility and professionalism Vacation

- Position will have time off and vacation flexibility, daily work hours will not be ridged

- Ability and requirement to work some weekends during seasonal work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
