Looking for a hands-on job this summer? Want to work outside, stay active, and help keep our community looking its best? The City of Marinette is hiring Seasonal General Laborers for multiple departments.

Departments with Openings:

• · Public Works (up to 7)
• · Cemetery (up to 3)
• · Recreation (up to 1)

What You’ll Do:

• · Assist with outdoor maintenance and landscaping
• · Help maintain parks, streets, cemeteries, and public spaces
• · Perform duties such as mowing, trimming, litter pickup, painting, custodial tasks, and assisting with grave digging or stone placement.
• · Work as part of a team in a positive, active environment (Other duties may be assigned as needed)

What We Offer:

• · Seasonal employment (May – September)
• · Full-time hours (40 hours/week)
• · Typical schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (weekends as needed)
• · Hands-on experience working outdoors all summer

Qualifications:

• · Valid driver’s license required
• · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and operate hand/power tools
• · Minimum age:
• o 18 years old for Public Works & Recreation
• o 16 years old + for Cemetery

Abilities:

• Ability to work the hours of the position
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions

Pay: $15.00 / hour (Returning seasonal employees may receive a $1.00/hour increase)

Job Type: Seasonal, limited-term position
