Seasonal Laundry Attendant-Full-Time, Beauport Hotel

Job Description:

Shift: Second Shift,Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri,Sat,Sun

Maintain the highest level of cleanliness and efficiency in the hotel's laundry facility. Process, sort, wash, dry, fold, and store all linens and uniform items according to Beauport Hotel standards. Support the housekeeping team by ensuring ongoing supply of clean linens for guest rooms and public areas.

This is a seasonal full-time position requiring work on holidays and weekends.

The start date for this position is on or around April 1st.

The schedule for the role is 1pm-9pm.

Experience and Skills:

Skills and Experience

• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift
• Capability to lift, carry, and maneuver linen loads of up to 30 lbs. repeatedly
• Frequent bending, reaching overhead, squatting, and kneeling
• Quick movement to respond to changing laundry volume and guest demands
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a commercial laundry or hospitality laundry setting
• Knowledge of fabric care, stain removal techniques, and laundry chemistry
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to assist other departments
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages a plus
• Actual compensation is commensurate with relevant skills and qualifications
• Salary range is $15-$16.50/hr
