Seasonal Photo Editor – Dance Studio Photography – $100–$500 per assignment

We are seeking experienced photo editors for high-volume dance studio portrait work during our peak season (May–July).

Assignments typically range from 1,000–5,000 JPEG images per studio. Compensation ranges from $100–$500 per assignment, at 10cents per image.

This is an independent contractor, remote (work-from-home) position.

Responsibilities:

• Edit JPEG images using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop
• Perform consistent cropping, color correction, white balance, and exposure adjustments
• Extend backdrops in Photoshop when necessary
• Organize final images into structured folders per studio guidelines

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop (must own licensed versions)
• Reliable computer with sufficient memory to handle high-volume workflows
• Ability to complete at least one assignment per week during peak season
• Strong attention to detail and consistency across large image sets
• Ability to meet agreed-upon turnaround timelines (typically 5–7 days per assignment, depending on volume)
• Clear and timely communication throughout each assignment

As part of the application process, candidates will receive brief instructional videos and complete a short sample edit.

Note: Retouching is not included in standard assignments. Retouching work, when requested, is compensated separately.
