Medical Scribe Responsibilities:

Documenting Patient Encounters: Accurately record details of patient visits, including history, examination findings, and care plans, in real-time during medical consultations.

Entering Data into Electronic Health Records (EHR): Input patient information into the EHR system efficiently and accurately, ensuring compliance with privacy and security standards.

Managing Medical Charts: Organize and maintain patients' charts and ensure that they are complete and up-to-date, coordinating with the healthcare team as needed.

Communicating with Healthcare Providers: Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to clarify any necessary details and ensure accurate documentation.

Ensuring Compliance: Remain knowledgeable about HIPAA and other regulatory requirements to maintain patient confidentiality and data security.

What You Bring to Refuah:

High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
Previous clinical experience (outpatient preferred)
Ability to project a pleasant and professional image
Ability to plan, prioritize and complete delegated tasks
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with patients and other employees
Ability to read, write, understand and speak English in a clear and concise manner
Physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform a variety of tasks and skills in the area of assignment
Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards
Eligible to Work in the US
