Job Title: Seasonal Summer Painter

Reports to: Assistant Director of Facilities

Number of People Supported: Campus Wide

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform interior painting in Residence Halls and other buildings on Campus.
• Perform exterior painting when necessary.
• Assist Trades and Handy people with various tasks when requested.
• Assist with office and furniture moves when necessary.
• Other duties may be assigned within the scope of work of the Facilities Department.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should be organized and able to handle multiple tasks.
• Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.
• Must be able to work from 8:00AM to 4:00PM – Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid NYS Driver’s License.

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Experience:

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 80 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of physical labor.

Salary:

• $17.00 per hour.

Hours Expectation:

• 40 hours per week – 8:00AM to 4:00PM – Monday through Friday.
• Seasonal position: May - August/September

Housing:

• Housing is not provided.
