Al Rabeeh Academy is hiring an experienced Humanities Teacher to join our international British curriculum school from August 2026.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, well structured lessons in line with British curriculum standards, teaching Humanities up to at least GCSE level (and A Level where applicable).
- Model strong subject knowledge, critical thinking and analytical skills through creative and effective teaching approaches across History, Geography and related subjects.
- Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track and support student progress.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development and creation of high quality teaching resources.
- Support the academic and pastoral well being of students, promoting school values, routines and high expectations.
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication regarding progress, attainment and next steps.
- Participate actively in school events, professional development and whole school initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience
- Fluent English speaker.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE/QTS (or equivalent).
- Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
- Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student welfare.
- Excellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
