Secondary ICT Teacher

Al Rabeeh Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate ICT Teacher to join our dynamic, high-performing team from August 2026.

As a Secondary ICT Teacher in an international British curriculum school, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A-Level ICT/Computer Science where applicable. You will inspire students through engaging, practical and skills focused lessons, develop strong digital literacy, computational thinking and problem solving skills, and create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment where all learners are challenged and empowered to reach their full potential.

We are seeking an ICT Teacher who can:

• Deliver engaging, well structured lessons in line with British curriculum standards, with the ability to teach ICT/Computer Science up to at least GCSE level (A Level desirable).
• Model strong digital literacy, computational thinking and problem solving skills through creative, practical and technology rich teaching approaches.
• Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track and support student progress and attainment in ICT.
• Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development and the creation of high quality, relevant and up to date teaching and learning resources.
• Support the academic and pastoral wellbeing of students, promoting the school's values, routines and high expectations for learning and behaviour.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication regarding student progress, achievement and next steps.
• Participate actively in school events, enrichment opportunities, digital innovation initiatives, professional development and wider whole school activities.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants must:

• Be a fluent English speaker
• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
• Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
• Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
