Job Title: Secondary Math Teacher - Immediate Hiring

Location: EuroSchool - HSR, Bangalore

Position Summary:
The Secondary Math Teacher at EuroSchool - HSR will be responsible for delivering high-quality math instruction to students in the secondary grades. The teacher will develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and create a supportive learning environment conducive to academic success. The ideal candidate will possess strong content knowledge in mathematics, effective teaching skills, and a passion for inspiring students to excel in mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive and standards-aligned mathematics curriculum for secondary students, ensuring that lessons are engaging, relevant, and rigorous.
• Instructional Delivery: Deliver effective and engaging mathematics instruction using a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technology tools to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessment methods, including quizzes, tests, projects, and performance tasks.
• Differentiated Instruction: Differentiate instruction to accommodate students with varying learning styles, abilities, and mathematical proficiency levels, providing additional support or enrichment as needed.
• Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to learn mathematics.
• Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, behavior, and academic achievement through parent-teacher conferences, emails, and progress reports.
• Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mathematics education, instructional strategies, and technology integration.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to enhance the overall educational experience, share best practices, and support the school's mission and goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• B.Ed is mandatory
• Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in mathematics instruction, preferably at the secondary level.
• Strong content knowledge in mathematics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, and statistics.
• Effective instructional skills and the ability to engage and motivate students in the learning process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practice.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month
