Curriculum & Instruction

• Plan and deliver lessons strictly aligned with CBSE curriculum, NCERT textbooks, and learning outcomes.
• Teach integrated Science for Classes VI–X, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• Implement competency-based education (CBE) and experiential learning strategies.
• Integrate real-life applications, case studies, and inquiry-based learning.
• Use ICT tools, smart boards, simulations, and digital resources effectively.

Assessment & Evaluation

• Design and conduct assessments aligned with CBSE assessment framework.
• Prepare competency-based questions, case-study questions, and practical assessments.
• Maintain accurate academic records, portfolios, and progress reports.
• Analyze student performance data to improve learning outcomes.

Practical Work & Lab Management

• Conduct science practicals as per CBSE guidelines.
• Ensure strict adherence to laboratory safety norms.
• Maintain lab equipment, materials, and records.
• Guide students in projects, experiments, and investigatory activities.

Student Development & Support

• Identify learning gaps and provide remedial instruction.
• Mentor students for science exhibitions, Olympiads, quizzes, and competitions.
• Encourage scientific temper, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Support inclusive education and differentiated instruction.

School & Professional Responsibilities

• Participate in CBSE-mandated trainings, workshops, and capacity-building programs.
• Collaborate with peers on lesson planning and interdisciplinary projects.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress.
• Support school events such as science fairs, exhibitions, and assemblies.
• Maintain discipline and uphold school policies and CBSE norms.

Qualifications & ExperienceEssential Qualifications

• B.Sc.+ B.Ed. (Science) from a recognized university.
• Subject specialization in Physics/Chemistry/Biology.
• Knowledge of CBSE curriculum, NCERT textbooks, and exam patterns.
