    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma required.
    • Post high school professional training preferred.
    • Prior office experience preferred
    • Proficiency in oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Competency in use of computer and knowledge of office related software programs including Microsoft Word, Excel and appropriate district student information management system.
    • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
    Responsibilities: This position incorporates the duties and responsibilities of the Secretary (CL III) job description and further includes the following:
    • Provide administrative assistance to Principal;
    • Schedule appointments, arrange conferences and interviews as directed;
    • Promote a positive and professional first impression to visitors to the school building;
    • Maintain a regular filing system and process correspondence and documents in accordance with established office procedure;
    • Perform general secretarial duties, which include but are not limited to
      • Acting as receptionist greeting visitors and receiving, placing and directing telephone calls to appropriate personnel.
      • Preparing, typing and filing correspondence.
      • Preparing purchase orders as directed.
      • Managing distribution and processing of incoming/outgoing mail.
      • Order and maintain supplies.
      • Schedule the maintenance and repair of office equipment.
    • Enter and update data in the Information Management system;
    • Maintain an appropriate and legal level of confidentiality of information regarding students, staff and other individuals having business with or access to the school office;
    • Serve as office manager to maintain continuity of daily activities/tasks;
    • Maintain office records and reports on appropriate data processing software;
    • Maintain daily teacher attendance log and substitute teacher records;
    • Perform data processing duties, such as: entering and updating scheduling information, making changes to student records as necessary and processing ongoing information for state and federal reports;
    • Work cooperatively with supervisor and other appropriate personnel to monitor and collect supportive documentation for local, state and federally funded programs;
    • Identify, analyze and solve problems;
    • Work cooperatively with staff in other offices to facilitate the completion of large or time sensitive projects or reports;
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent or his designee.

    Salary: In accordance with the established TEAM Salary Guide currently ranging from $41,090-$60,054
    Benefits: Full time employees are eligible for medical, prescription and dental benefits. Sick, personal and vacation day allotments are included.
