Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Introduction:

The Aga Khan University Hospital is a not-for-profit healthcare institute that offers all medical services to its patients under one roof. In addition to the tertiary care hospital in Karachi, AKUH has a network of 4 secondary care hospitals, 30+ Medical Centers, and over 290+ Clinical Laboratories, 30+ Pharmacies in over 120+ cities across Pakistan. It also offers Home Healthcare Services and home deliveries of medicines. Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

  • answer phone calls promptly, respond appropriately and deliver messages timely and accurately to the concerned
  • establish and maintain effective relationships with co-workers
  • collect, distribute and dispatch mails to the addressee while maintaining confidentiality
  • maintain and monitor predetermined levels of office supplies stock
  • accurately type all written correspondence (which includes memos, letters, reports, policy write-ups, minutes, and presentations as and when required) and complete these on a timely basis
  • schedule meetings and make other necessary arrangements for the planning of the meeting, including reserving the venue, arranging multimedia and transport etc. and sharing confirmations with the meeting participants
  • cumulate quality indicators from all sections and prepare key indicators report, to assess the overall performance of the department and also update goals and objectives on a periodic basis with feedback from concerned stakeholders
  • maintain records of necessary documents in the relevant files
  • provide support in organizing webinars, sessions, guest lectures, workshops, and conferences
  • update necessary records related to international accreditation agencies e.g., ISO, Safe Care and JCIA etc.

Requirements:

You should have:

  • a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent, preferably a Master’s degree
  • at least two years of related experience
  • excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments and adhere to strict deadlines
  • strong quantitative skills and the ability to think critically
  • present appropriate information clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • proficiency in the use of computers applications, particularly Microsoft Office and SPSS etc.
  • ability to effectively work in teams as well as independently.
