Secretary/Assistant to the General Manager

We are currently looking for a Secretary / Assistant to the General Manager (for Travel and Tourism Company) who can join immediately and with at least 3 years’ experience as secretary, administrative assistant or relevant role.

The Secretary / Assistant will provide support to the General Manager while dealing with secretarial/administrative tasks. She will carry out assignments as requested by the General Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with office management procedures
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills is a must.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow directives given by the General Manager
  • Acts as custodian of corporate documents and records
  • Create and maintain filing systems
  • Answer queries by employees and clients
  • Professionally greet and direct visitors
  • Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments
  • Take dictation; compose and prepare confidential correspondence, reports, and other documents professionally.
  • Ensure smooth and professional office operations
  • Should be able to handle running day to day activities smoothly,
  • Act as key contact between the General Manager and other Managers and employees.
  • Prepare internal communication memos
