Security Analyst / SOC Analyst

Job Overview: Jurident Legal Services is seeking a highly skilled Security Analyst / SOC Analyst to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring and enhancing the security posture of our organization, identifying potential threats, and responding to incidents effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security alerts and incidents in real-time, analyzing data to detect and respond to potential threats.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and manage remediation efforts to strengthen security defenses.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and standards.
• Develop and implement security metrics and reporting processes to track performance and trends.
• Assist in security audits and assessments, reporting on compliance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Stay informed about emerging security threats and recommend appropriate countermeasures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or security operations center (SOC) roles.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, tools, and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing security risks.

Salary:

Hourly rate between QAR 40 - 90, depending on experience.
