About the Role:
The Security Analytics Manager is responsible for developing, governing, and delivering Cybersecurity & Technology Controls (CTC) security analytics and business intelligence across application, business unit, division, and enterprise levels. This role acts as the central authority for cybersecurity metrics, analytics, and reporting, ensuring consistent, accurate, and decision‑ready insights aligned with organizational risk priorities and regulatory expectations. This person will collaborate closely with different functions including technology, risk, and business stakeholders to define standardized metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting that measure control effectiveness, operational performance, and risk posture. Additionally, the role is accountable for defining and influencing a scalable, secure, and AI‑ready data and analytics architecture aligned with enterprise Data & AI Center of Excellence (CoE) standards, enabling automation, advanced analytics, and future AI use cases. This role will govern metric definitions, data quality, automation, and delivery practices, ensure alignment with enterprise data and AI frameworks, and drive continuous improvement of cybersecurity reporting and analytics capabilities across the organization.
Responsibilities:

BI Platform & Data Engineering: Lead and own cybersecurity BI initiatives end‑to‑end with minimal supervision. Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, Dataflow Gen2, etc.). Implement and operate Medallion Architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) to ensure data quality, governance, and analytics readiness. Ingest structured and semi‑structured data from multiple internal and external data sources. Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, views, Common Table Expressions (CTEs), stored procedures, and functions to support data transformation, aggregation, and analytical workloads. Perform data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment using SQL and PySpark. Optimize performance and cost through query tuning, indexing strategies, partitioning, incremental loads, and efficient data modeling techniques. Monitor data pipelines, resolve failures, and implement robust error handling, logging, and reconciliation controls.

Analytics, Reporting & Visualization: Prepare and curate analytics‑ready datasets and semantic models for Power BI dashboards and reports. Define and manage cybersecurity KPIs and KRIs in partnership with Security, HR, Legal, Risk, and business teams. Develop executive‑level dashboards, reports, and presentations to support governance forums, audits, and regulatory reviews. Translate complex security and control data into clear, business‑focused insights. Establish and maintain standards for reporting accuracy, data lineage, quality, and timely delivery. Ensure alignment between underlying SQL‑based data models and reporting layers to support scalability, reusability, and self‑service analytics.

Automation & Continuous Improvement: Automate recurring data processing, metric calculation, and reporting using Power Automate, Logic Apps, Power BI, and Excel Power Query. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation, reusable data assets, self‑service reporting, and metric‑driven insights. Continuously refactor and modernize SQL and data engineering assets to improve maintainability, performance, and scalability. Stay current with Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and data engineering best practices and apply platform enhancements where appropriate.

Collaboration & Influence: Collaborate with architects, engineers, function leads, and control SMEs to implement approved data and analytics design patterns and resolve technical gaps. Work with analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate business and control requirements into secure, scalable data solutions. Serve as the BI, SQL, and reporting Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cybersecurity, influencing outcomes without direct authority. Support continuous improvement of cybersecurity programs through insight‑driven recommendations and data‑backed decision support. Ensure timely and high quality reporting, presentations, and write-ups that resonate with all levels and personas to communicate required needs, outcomes, impacts and decisions / options based on metrics and data.

AI and Automation: Identify and leverage AI‑enabled analytics, intelligent automation, and advanced data capabilities to enhance user experience, insight generation, and operational efficiency, while ensuring alignment with enterprise Data & AI CoE standards.
Skills:

Required Experience

12+ years of demonstrated progressive experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or Data & Analytics.

7+ years of hands-on experience delivering and leading BI initiatives.

7+ years in complex program delivery spanning multinational organizations and global teams.

Expert-level Power BI skills, including data modeling, DAX, and performance optimization.

Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines, Notebooks, Dataflow Gen2, PySpark, SQL, and Data Science workloads.

Strong knowledge of Azure services and data integration patterns.
