Security Dispatch Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Security Dispatch Manager to oversee daily dispatch operations and lead a team of dispatch clerks supporting field security personnel. This role is responsible for monitoring officer attendance, coordinating coverage for call-offs and staffing shortages, and ensuring efficient communication between dispatch, field supervisors, and operations teams in a 24/7 security environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of 12–14 Dispatch Clerks
• Monitor dispatch activity, attendance systems, and incident reporting
• Coordinate coverage for call-offs, no-shows, and staffing shortages
• Work closely with Operations and Scheduling to prevent uncovered posts
• Provide real-time decision-making during operational issues
• Track dispatch performance including response times, attendance trends, and coverage gaps

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in security dispatch, command center, or operations coordination
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

• Fast-paced dispatch and security operations environment
• Primarily desk-based with heavy phone and computer use
• May include evenings, weekends, and on-call responsibilities

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
