Position Title: Security Dispatcher

Employment Type: Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week)

Schedule: Various Shifts Available (Days, Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays as Needed)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dependable Security Dispatcher to join our team. This critical role serves as the communication hub between clients, security personnel, supervisors, and emergency services. The ideal candidate is a quick thinker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at multitasking, and can make sound decisions under pressure.

The Security Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating field operations, monitoring security activities, handling emergency and non-emergency calls, and ensuring seamless communication throughout all shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispatch security officers to incidents, service calls, and client requests.
  • Monitor officer activity and maintain real-time awareness of field operations. Receive, prioritize, and document incoming calls, alarms, and incident reports. Communicate effectively with clients, management, law enforcement, and emergency responders.Maintain accurate records, logs, schedules, and dispatch reports.
  • Track officer locations, assignments, and shift coverage.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to emergencies and unexpected situations. Assist with scheduling adjustments, call-offs, and staffing needs.
  • Ensure all communications are handled with professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to think critically and make decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and operational demands.
  • Competent with computers, dispatch software, Microsoft Office, and data entry. Ability to remain calm, professional, and focused during emergencies.
  • Previous dispatch, security, law enforcement, customer service, or operations experience preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
