Security Engineer – Roads & Bridges

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Security Engineer to support and manage security systems across large-scale Roads & Bridges infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of integrated security solutions including surveillance, access control, and intelligent transportation system (ITS) security components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage security systems for Roads & Bridges projects
• Oversee installation and commissioning of CCTV, Access Control, ANPR, and perimeter security systems
• Ensure integration of security systems with ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems)
• Coordinate with civil, MEP, and ICT teams for seamless system deployment
• Review and approve shop drawings, technical submittals, and system designs
• Monitor system performance and conduct regular inspections and audits
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, safety standards, and project specifications
• Identify security risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of security systems
• Liaise with stakeholders, consultants, and authorities for approvals

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
• 5–10 years of experience in security systems within Roads & Bridges / Infrastructure projects
• Strong experience in CCTV, Access Control, ANPR, VMS, and PSIM systems
• Knowledge of ITS, SCADA, and network infrastructure is highly preferred
• Familiarity with UAE authority standards and regulations
• Experience in system integration and large-scale project environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
