Security Engineer - Team Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer who will play a critical role across solution design, pre-sales, client delivery, R&D, and internal IT operations. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on security architecture expertise, and the ability to collaborate with customers, sales teams, vendors, and internal engineers to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Security Architecture & Solution Design

• Propose efficient and scalable security architectures that integrate with clients’ existing ecosystems.
• Design and recommend custom security solutions based on customer requirements.
• Determine security requirements by evaluating business strategies, industry standards, platforms, and integration challenges.
• Plan and design security systems including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, and related network/security technologies.
• Prepare detailed architecture and design documents for customer review and approval.
• Provide consulting support during testing, evaluation, pilot, production, and training phases to ensure successful deployments.

Technical Leadership & Implementation

• Act as the technical lead for security implementation and integration projects.
• Manage and guide teams performing remote and on-site installation, customization, and integration.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure timely delivery.
• Lead the resolution of complex technical support issues and escalations.
• Perform root cause analysis and guide teams toward long-term solutions.
• Provide technical guidance to customers in line with approvals and SOPs.

Pre-Sales & Business Support

• Partner with sales and account teams to provide technical expertise during pre-sales activities.
• Support identification of new business opportunities.
• Create technical responses for proposals, RFPs, and tenders.
• Conduct product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and technical presentations.
• Engage with prospects to understand technical and security requirements.

Client Servicing & Support Management

• Manage a team of Security Engineers across multiple projects.
• Monitor, respond to, and resolve client support tickets within SLA timelines.
• Perform system upgrades, health checks, patch management, and routine maintenance.
• Coordinate with product vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide best-practice guidance to optimize deployed security solutions.

Research & Development

• Research and develop security solutions and value propositions in collaboration with solution principals.
• Stay updated on competitive offerings and product differentiators.
• Attend technical training programs and maintain relevant certifications.
• Contribute to improving internal processes and security testing methodologies.
• Review and enhance internal training resources and documentation.

Internal IT Management

• Prepare laptops and IT resources for new employees.
• Manage firewall access and create necessary IDs.
• Administer internal IT platforms including Azure, AWS, 1Password, and web hosting portals.
• Provide daily IT support to internal employees as needed.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• At least 4+ years proven experience as a Security Architect, Security Manager, or Senior Security Engineer
• Strong knowledge of network and security technologies (Firewalls, VPNs, LAN/WAN, Cloud Security)
• Experience managing technical teams and customer-facing projects
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Experience working with vendors, partners, and enterprise customers
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Rs180,000.00 per month
