Overview
    Security Guard -
Responsibilities
    The Curriculum Coordinator shall be an expert on the adopted school curriculum and its standards. He/she implements and manages curriculum design and provides guidance to teachers and administrators on curriculum requirements, developing curriculum content and researching benchmarks for program development requirements.

    Interactions
    The School Accountant will share the financial report on a regular basis with the following:
    1. Internal: Finance Manager and Principal.
    2. External: Parents – only to discuss about student fee related matters unless otherwise instructed by the Principal.
    Key Performance Accountabilities as a Security Guard
    1. The School Accountant maintains financial reports, records, and general ledgers; prepares and analyzes budgets; and performs general bookkeeping. School Accountant is also responsible for billing activities, such as accounts payable and accounts receivable.

    2. The School Accountant remains updated with the requirements of statutory bodies and related authorities, particularly Ministry of Education with regards to school fees.

    3. The Curriculum Coordinator assists the Finance Manager in administration and analysis, ensuring that the school financial records are updated and accurate always.

    1. Access Control:
    Monitor and control access points to the school premises.
    Verify the identity of individuals entering the school, including staff, students, parents, and visitors.
    2. Surveillance:
    Conduct regular patrols of the school premises to deter and detect any suspicious activities.
    3. Emergency Response:
    Respond promptly to emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, and security threats.
    Assist in the evacuation of students and staff during emergency drills or actual emergencies.
    4. Visitor Management:
    Register and record details of all visitors entering the school.
    Escort visitors to their designated areas and ensure they adhere to school policies.
    5. Crowd Control:
    Manage crowds during events, assemblies, or dismissal times.
    Ensure orderly and safe movement of students and staff within the school premises.
    6. Vehicle and Parking Area Security:
    Monitor and control the entry and exit of vehicles.
    Ensure proper parking and traffic flow within the school premises.
    7. Security Checks:
    Conduct routine checks of bags, belongings, and vehicles entering the school.
    Enforce policies related to prohibited items on the school premises.
    8. Conflict Resolution:
    Intervene in conflicts or disputes among students or staff when necessary.
    Report incidents to the relevant school authorities or supervisors.
    9. Communication:
    Maintain clear and effective communication with school administrators, teachers, and other security personnel.
    Report incidents or security concerns promptly.
    Safety Inspections:

    Conduct regular inspections of the school premises to identify and address safety hazards.
    Report maintenance issues or potential security risks.
    First Aid Support:

    Provide basic first aid assistance in case of minor injuries.
    Coordinate with school health services and emergency responders when needed.
    Collaboration with Local Authorities:

    Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services.
    Comply with any security-related directives or guidance from local authorities.
    Training and Drills:

    Participate in security training sessions and drills.
    Ensure familiarity with emergency response procedures.
    Documentation:

    Maintain accurate records of security incidents, reports, and activities.
    Prepare incident reports as necessary.
    Preventive Measures:

    Implement preventive security measures to deter unauthorized access or activities.
    Report and address any breaches of security protocols.
    Community Relations:

    Foster positive relations with the school community, including students, parents, and staff.
    Act as a visible and approachable presence in the school.
    Adherence to Policies:

    Enforce school security policies and procedures.
    Stay informed about any updates or changes to security protocols.
    Continual Improvement:

    Provide feedback on security measures and suggest improvements.
    Stay updated on industry best practices for school security.
    06. Compliance
    1. Commit to tasks which may require additional effort and time for the benefit of the school.
    2. Make sure that the school meets all the requirements as per the MOE.
    3. Take up and fulfill other responsibilities as requested by the line manager.
    4. Contribute to the corporate life of the school through effective participation in meetings and management systems necessary to coordinate the management of the school.
    5. Establish effective working relationships and set a good example through the presentation and personal and professional conduct.
    6. Maintain confidentiality on matters related to school, staff, students and infrastructure.
