Job Summary
The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of company premises, employees, visitors, and assets. This role involves surveillance, patrolling, visitor management, access control, emergency response, and maintaining accurate security records. The position requires vigilance, professionalism, and the ability to respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
Key Responsibilities
Access Control & Visitor Management
- Verify identification and credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Maintain an accurate visitor register and ensure proper sign-in/sign-out procedures.
- Manage employee inward and outward registers for company assets and materials.
- Ensure no unauthorized person carries out company assets without proper approval and documentation.
- Oversee reception duties, including guiding visitors and responding to inquiries.
Surveillance & Patrol
- Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems to detect suspicious activity.
- Conduct scheduled and unscheduled patrols of the premises, including buildings and parking areas.
- Ensure all security-related equipment and systems are functioning properly.
- Prevent theft, damage, and unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Safety & Emergency Response
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies, equipment alarms, safety hazards, and security threats.
- Assist in emergency evacuations and implement safety protocols.
- Coordinate with local authorities (police, fire department, medical services) when required.
Event & Crowd Management
- Maintain order during VIP visits, public gatherings, and special events.
- Support the organization in crowd control, entry checks, and safety monitoring.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily security reports, logbooks, and incident reports.
- Report any security lapses, maintenance issues, or suspicious activities to the supervisor or relevant departments.
- Ensure all records are accurate, up-to-date, and maintained as per company policy.
Key Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in security, safety, or related fields preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV operation, access control systems, and basic safety procedures preferred.
- Strong observation and surveillance skills.
- Ability to act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations.
- Good communication skills and professional behavior.
- Physically fit for patrolling and emergency response activities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow company protocols.
- Basic report writing and record-keeping skills.

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
