Security Guard

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Guard to uphold safety and security across our premises. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for monitoring the property, controlling access points, and ensuring a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your keen eye and quick response will help prevent theft, manage conflicts, and handle emergencies effectively. Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee all activity within the premises.
• Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identities and issuing passes as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to identify security breaches or hazards and respond promptly.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism, de-escalating disputes to maintain a peaceful environment.
• Respond swiftly to emergencies by providing first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders.
• Perform loss prevention activities by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
• Maintain detailed logs of incidents, patrols, access records, and security reports for accountability and review.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement is highly desirable.
• Certification in first aid, CPR, or other emergency response procedures is preferred.
• Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and security protocols.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Background in military or law enforcement service is a plus.
• Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices.

Pay: $21.75 - $26.20 per hour
