Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant, professional, and responsible Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of people, property, and assets while maintaining a secure and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will have strong observation skills, a proactive approach to security, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of unauthorized access, theft, vandalism, or other security risks
• Control access to premises by verifying identification and maintaining visitor logs
• Conduct routine inspections of buildings, facilities, and surrounding areas
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and security breaches
• Prepare accurate and detailed incident, accident, and daily activity reports
• Monitor CCTV systems and other security equipment to identify potential threats
• Assist employees, visitors, and guests while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
• Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and security procedures
• Coordinate with management and emergency services when necessary
• Report safety hazards, suspicious activities, and maintenance concerns immediately
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and ensure a safe environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Security Guard
• Valid security guard license or certification (where required by local regulations)
• Strong observation and surveillance skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies
• Basic knowledge of security procedures, access control, and emergency response protocols
• Physically fit and able to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and night duties
