Security Guard

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
• Ensure the safety and security of all individuals on-site by enforcing rules and regulations.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergencies, providing first aid as necessary.
• Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and grounds to identify potential security risks.
• Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques.
• Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or emergencies.

Requirements

• Previous experience in law enforcement or loss prevention is preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Familiarity with surveillance equipment and monitoring systems (CCTV).
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A military background is considered an asset but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective reporting and interaction with the public.
