As an Armed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, respond to incidents, and support store teams and guests with clear, respectful communication. This post requires a valid driver's license and Texas Level III Armed certification, with opportunities to help reduce security-related issues while representing Allied Universal with integrity, teamwork, and a caring, innovative approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, and/or staff by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and timely notification to site leadership and/or public services as required.
• Monitor entrances, sales floor activity, and back-of-house areas, observing for suspicious behavior, theft-related activity, and/or access control concerns.
• Complete security-related reports and logs, document observations and actions taken, and communicate key information during shift briefings and/or handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
