Covering Inbound - Swing shift: 14:00–22:30, Saturday–Tuesday.

Covering Fenceline/Forklift - Graveyard: 23:00–07:30 Saturday and Sunday

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to oversee entry screening and conduct routine foot patrols at a busy logistics center. This position requires strong attention to detail, confidence interacting with drivers and staff, and the ability to remain alert throughout the shift.

This is an active role involving standing, walking, and consistent monitoring of site activity.

Key Responsibilities

• Control access at the guard house and verify driver and visitor credentials
• Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel access the facility
• Conduct routine foot patrols of the property and perimeter
• Observe and report unusual activity or safety concerns
• Maintain accurate log entries and incident reports
• Communicate clearly with site management and dispatch when needed
• Enforce site rules and maintain a professional presence at all times

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age
• Valid guard card
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Ability to remain alert in a structured environment
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in access control, gate operations, or patrol
• Experience working at logistics, warehouse, or distribution facilities

Work Environment

• Outdoor and indoor post (guard house and yard patrol)
• Active logistics facility with regular truck traffic
• May include nights, weekends, and holidays
