Security Guard Unarmed Access Control Patrol
As a Security Guard Unarmed Access Control Patrol in Bronx, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access activity while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, entrances, waiting areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site protocols, while assisting with visitor processing and directing foot traffic as needed.

Document daily activities, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns in required logs and reports, and communicate relevant updates during shift changes.
Minimum Requirements:

Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
