Security Guards – Safety & Surveillance

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Security Guards are responsible for ensuring the safety, protection, and security of the organization’s premises, staff, students, and visitors by maintaining vigilance and enforcing security protocols.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control entry and exit points.
• Conduct routine patrols of the premises to prevent unauthorized activities.
• Maintain visitor logs and daily security reports.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and security incidents.
• Coordinate with administration in case of security concerns.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• Minimum Matric or Intermediate qualification.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in security services, preferably in schools, NGOs, hospitals, or corporate organizations.
• Prior experience in managing entry/exit control and maintaining visitor records.
• Basic understanding of emergency response procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to remain alert, disciplined, and responsive during duty hours.
• Physically fit with good stamina and strong observation skills.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior training from recognized security firms or retired armed forces personnel.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with administration in case of incidents.
