Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Managed Services Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of managed security services for our clients. This role is responsible for managing service operations, ensuring high-quality delivery, and driving continuous improvement in cybersecurity services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security operations, service management, and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the delivery of managed security services, including SOC operations, incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
  • Oversee service operations, ensuring SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations are consistently met.
  • Develop and maintain service delivery processes, playbooks, and operational documentation aligned with industry frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, ITIL).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation, integration of new technologies, and process optimization.
  • Collaborate with clients, internal stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure service excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and professional development for service delivery teams.
  • Prepare and deliver reports, metrics, and executive briefings on service performance and security posture.
  • Support compliance and audit activities, ensuring managed services meet regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Manage escalations, major incidents, and crisis situations with professionalism and urgency.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT service management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing security operations and delivering managed services to enterprise clients.
  • Hands-on expertise with SOC, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence platforms.
  • Strong understanding of service management frameworks (ITIL, ISO 27001) and incident response processes.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer) are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in banking, government, or critical infrastructure sectors.
  • Familiarity with cloud security operations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Project management and service delivery experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
