Security & Market Safety Senior Lead

We are looking for an experienced Security & Market Safety Senior Lead who will manage and elevate both the Security and Market Safety functions across our market operations. This role will directly lead the Market Safety Lead position and will serve as the primary contact for all security-related topics across Türkiye.
This is a strategic, office-based position with significant operational touchpoints—requiring regular field interactions, stakeholder engagement, and strong leadership within a global environment. The role is based in İstanbul with regular field travel expected.
Key Responsibilities
Security Leadership
- Drive the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of all security strategies, standards, and programs across the market.
- Assess security risks, emerging threats, and vulnerabilities; develop mitigation plans and ensure organizational readiness.
- Lead investigation processes, incident reporting, and improvement actions.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and relevant authorities.
Market Safety Governance
- Provide functional leadership to the Market Safety Lead, ensuring alignment with corporate HSE standards and market needs.
- Oversee the execution of field safety processes, fleet safety programs, and regulatory compliance across Türkiye operations.
- Ensure best practices are consistently implemented across all regions and functions.
Operational Oversight & Field Engagement
- Although office-based in İstanbul, regularly engage with field teams, conduct onsite assessments, and guide local safety/security practices.
- Ensure that market operations uphold a strong safety and security culture through communication, training, and situational awareness.
Strategic Partnership & Influence
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Sales, HR, Facilities, and global S&MS teams to align policies and standards.
- Ensure senior leadership is informed on risks, trends, and strategic recommendations.
Responsibilities
- Senior-level experience in Security roles; Market Safety/HSE exposure is a strong advantage.
- Proven experience working in multinational or global structures.
- Demonstrated capability in managing both strategic frameworks and field-level execution.
- Strong risk assessment and crisis management capabilities.
- Ability to lead through influence and manage cross-functional relationships.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coaching abilities.
- Advanced English is required.
- Experience working with global teams is considered a strong plus.
