Security Officer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with the ability to respond effectively to incidents and emergencies. The Security Officer will monitor premises through surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and enforce safety protocols.

Duties

• Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
• Monitor cameras.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as necessary.
• Document incidents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for investigations or emergencies.
• Manage conflicts effectively, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tense situations.
• Issue Notice Of Rules Violation as needed.
• Control traffic using utilizing radar.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in security preferred.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
